Torrance Park’s 18-hole, par-72 layout was designed by renowned course architect Dave Thomas and extends over 6,100 yards of undulating North Lanarkshire moorland.
In fact, it shares many similarities with Thomas’ other top Scottish course projects such as Spey Valley and Cardrona with its use of well-shaped holes, large bunkers and water hazards that encourage golfers to adopt their own strategies based on their skill level.
As for its setting, Torrance Park provides a variety of experiences. On some holes, there are great long distance views over the surrounding area, while others wind through woodland.
Over the years, the site has seen a range of industrial activities and the construction of the course has helped to enhance the local environment.
The recently opened clubhouse is a fantastic place to relax and has gained a reputation for excellent quality food and a good family-friendly atmosphere.
