Ras Al Khaimah Championship

Established in 2022, the Ras Al Khaimah Championship marks the final stop in Dubai until the DP World Tour play-offs in November.

The field is without Rory McIlroy this week after the Northern Irishman started his year with a bang, winning the Hero Dubai Desert Classic.

Instead, star-power in the Ras Al Khaimah Championship field comes in the way of former Ryder Cup captains Thomas Bjorn and Padraig Harrington.

Meanwhile, the pair will be joined by a host of rising stars, including Alex Fitzpatrick, Tom McKibbin, as Rasmus Hojgaard looks to emulate brother Nicolai’s success two years ago.

And fans can go free to Al Hamra Golf Club this week, as those who register for tickets will be given free admission to the event.

The bunkered Bet

Jordan Smith 16/1

The Englishman kicked off his year with a 4th place finish at the inaugural Dubai Invitational before making the cut in Dubai last week. Scoring-wise, Smith has enjoyed a strong start from tee-to-green and with his reliable distance off the tee, he should be a threat at Al Hamra golf Club this week. He won the Ras Al Khaimah Golf Challenge here in 2016, too.
