Welcome to this week’s Social Eyes! The old saying goes that life begins at 40. But for new Champions Tour man John Daly, it’s most certainly 50 – as this Instagram post clearly shows!
While Daly is clearly loving life on the Champions Tour, 80-year-old Gary Player joked he may yet tee it up in Rio de Janeiro following the withdrawal of Branden Grace – joining Louis Oosthuizen and Charl Schwartzel.
@2016OlympicGolf I will be in Rio, have no plans for more children & averaged 70 last year. Ready to play if anymore withdrawals.

Graeme McDowell is another man not going to Rio – and, while watching is beloved Northern Ireland in action at Euro 2016 at the weekend, he did the unspeakable. The commentator’s curse.
Great effort so far here by the @NorthernIreland lads. @StevenDavis8 having a great game. C'mon the boys. #notbrazil

Less than three minutes later, Gareth Bale netted the winner for Wales in a 1-0 win.
Twitter curse applied. #sorrylads

Sergio Garcia’s Spain also crashed out of Euro 2016. But never mind that, here he is photobombing Masters champ Danny Willett.

His girlfriend Angela Akins was out on the course at the BMW International Open – and captured a picture of this spectator catching Paul Lawrie’s wayward drive!

Bubba Watson has a new jeep. It’s pretty damn cool.

While Bubba’s been driving around in that, his caddie Ted Scott has been doing some light reading ahead of next year’s US Open…
And nearly two weeks on from Oakmont, Austin Johnson is STILL wearing his US Open caddie bib!
