Three times a winner on the European Tour, Aberdonian Ramsay’s decade-long stint on the circuit is in real jeopardy this season. With his two-year exemption for winning the Hassan Trophee in 2015 having expired at the end of last season, he has struggled for form this year, with just one top ten finish to his name (a tie for sixth at the Dubai Desert Classic). Needs pocket at least €50,000 in Spain this week – which likely means finishing seventh or better – to keep his card.
