For golf fans who want to be in with a chance of having the ultimate ‘Bucket List’ experience, the time is now.

That is because the ticket application process for the 2024 Masters Tournament has just opened.

Fans around the world have the chance to walk the hallowed fairways of Augusta National and catch the live action at golf’s most exclusive tournament next April.

It is undoubtedly one of the most coveted tickets in all of sports and only some applicants are lucky enough to win one.

But you have to be in it to win it, and June 1 marks the date that golf fans can put their name in the hat to purchase tickets for the first major of 2024 from April 11-14.

From now until June 20, anyone is free to create their own account at Masters.com and apply for tickets in the hope of becoming one of the patrons in Georgia.

You can apply for the Monday and Tuesday practice rounds, the Par-3 contest on Wednesday or any of the four tournament rounds, but it must be noted that while “applicants may apply for any and all days”, you are only eligible to win tickets for one day.

All applicants successful in the ticket lottery will be alerted before the end of July when the process is complete.

Other important ticket information on the Masters website includes: “Only one application per person / address will be accepted (i.e., one per household / family residing together). Only apply from your permanent residential address. Do not apply from a student, temporary, second home or business address.

“Do not apply for tickets on behalf of a friend or relative, as a gift, or to sell. By completing the application you certify these tickets are for your personal use. Duplicate applications or applications which are subsequently determined to have false or misleading information will not be given consideration or may have any offer of tickets withdrawn.”

If you are one of the chosen ones who is drawn out of the ballot, tickets can be purchased for $100 for practice rounds and $140 for competition days.
