Who is Collin Morikawa’s wife?

Collin Morikawa has been one of the biggest stars on the PGA Tour for years.

Since winning the 2020 US PGA Championship and the 2021 Open Championship, Morikawa has been one of the elite of the men’s professional game.

But, who is Collin Morikawa’s wife?

That is his long-time partner Katherine Zhu. The pair got married in November of 2022, after getting engaged 12 months beforehand.

Katherine Zhu and Collin Morikawa have been together since college, but they didn’t go to the same one. Zhu was a college golf player on the Pepperdine University in Malibu, while Morikawa played at the University of Carolina.

Zhu has previously even caddied for Morikawa, at the US Amateur Championship, showing her knowledge of the game gained through playing collegiately.

Morikawa and Zhu got engaged in December of 2021 in the Bahamas. After they announced their engagement, Morikawa spoke about his nerves before proposing.

“I had never been so nervous as I was before proposing. We didn’t get into The Bahamas until about midnight Monday… my caddie and I got out to the course early Tuesday to practice. 

“I was driving the cart and was close to running into ropes… I was not only tired, but was kind of freaking out, too. Even though I believed she was going to say yes, it’s a one-time opportunity and I wanted to make it really special. I was really nervous.”
