He is one of the most prolific major players in the modern game, so who is Brooks Koepka’s caddie?
Koepka has long been a feared man in the ‘big four’ after racking up several wins at the US Open and PGA Championship.
That’s without counting the numerous PGA Tour and LIV Golf wins that the American has also recorded.
Of course, through it all, the Floridian has had his loyal caddie by his side.
On Brooks Koepka’s bag for over a decade has been a caddie called Ricky Elliott – and it’s fair to say the pair have formed a strong bond.

Although Koepka is the man hitting the shots, the vital information he needs comes from Elliott, who originates from Portrush, in Northern Ireland.
Elliott was actually a promising player in his own right, too, and looked destined to have a successful career as a player.
He turned professional after a successful amateur career, during which time he won the Ulster Boys’ and Ulster Youths Championships.
A former teammate of five-time European Tour winner Michael Hoey, Koepka’s caddie played college golf at the University of Toledo.
It was after that college stint that he turned pro but struggled in the paid game and, ultimately, became a caddie.
His first jobs were with Maarten Lafeber and Ben Curtis, respectively, and he was on the former Open champion’s bag when he won the 2012 Valero Texas Open.

Elliott also caddied for Matt Fitzpatrick during the 2014 Masters when the Englishman was an amateur and played at Augusta National as the reigning US Amateur champion.
However, it was on the recommendation of Koepka’s coach, Claude Harmon, that he joined forces with his now caddie ahead of the 2013 PGA Championship.
Since then, the pair haven’t looked back. Elliott has been on the bag for all of Koepka’s major victories – as well as wins in the 2015 Waste Management Phoenix Open and 2018 CJ Cup.
Meanwhile, Elliott has caddied for Koepka in several Ryder Cups and continues to stand by his man following his move to LIV Golf in the summer of 2022.
After winning the US Open for the second time in 2018, Koepka described Elliott as “one of my best friends.”
“I love the guy to death,” he added. “He’s an absolutely incredible caddie.”
Some of the duo’s best weeks together have been playing in Scotland, too.
Koepka returned to the Alfred Dunhill Links Championship in 2024 and praised his caddie, who he teed it up with in the Pro-Am.
“The atmosphere on and off the course at the Dunhill is fantastic,” he said.
“I was able to play with my father one year and my good friend and caddie, Ricky Elliott, another. Those two weeks will always be very special to me.”
