3. Raymond Floyd (1993)
Captain Tom Watson called up 51-year-old Floyd, seven years his senior, for what would be his final Ryder Cup appearance – and he sure went out on a high. Heading into the match with a largely poor record of 9-15-3, Floyd had a disappointing first day – losing in the morning foursomes – but won his next three, including a win at the last against Jose Maria Olazabal as USA came from behind heading into the final day to win 15-13. Record: 3-1-0.
