Cabot Cliffs

Ranked ninth in Golf Digest’s “100 Greatest Golf Courses in the World” despite having only opened to the public in 2016, the Coore/Crenshaw-designed Cabot Cliffs is set atop the bluffs that overlook Gulf of St Lawrence. Part “Pebble Beach”, part “classic Scottish links”, the course is slightly unusual in that each nine comprises three par-3s, three par-4s and three par-5s. The signature hole is undoubtedly the par-3 16th which plays across a deep ravine that tumbles all the way to the water below. Already, it is one of the most photographed holes in golf.
