Say hello to the new Shot Scope G5.

Shot Scope’s latest GPS watch is ready to go straight out of the box. There’s no app required here – just get it on and get to the course.

It comes pre-loaded with 36,000 courses worldwide – with no subscription or annual fees required – and it has a digital scorecard to keep a track of your scores as well.

In terms of aesthetics, the G5 has a large, easy-to-read face, which also has a daylight mode so you can see your yardages in the brightest of sunshine. At just 46 grams, it’s also incredibly lightweight.

Once you’re on the course, you’ll be given yardages to the front, middle and back of the green, as well as hazards, doglegs, and lay-up points so you can get perfect yardages to wherever you need.

And while there is no tracking with the G5, which we’ve seen with the Shot Scope X5, but you can measure your last shot hit which will give you the distance.

Not only is the G5 packed with the latest features, you can customise both the strap and the case with two of 12 different colour combinations. And swapping the straps is easy – simply slide it out if you fancy changing your G5 from round to round.

It all adds up to another superb piece of kit from Shot Scope.

“Building on from the success of the G3, the launch of the G5 was the natural progression for us.,” said CEO David Hunter. “We understand that not everyone wants to track their data, so the comprehensive GPS offering from the G5 is perfect for those starting their journey with our products, or for those just looking for a device to aid course management.”

“The choice and versatility of this watch really enhances its stylistic nature; all whilst sporting impressive technology that informs golfers on how to best manage their round.”

RRP: £149.99 (with a two-year warranty)
