With face inserts designed by artificial intelligence, the Odyssey AI-One putter range is a futuristic addition to an already impressive line-up.

This modern technology, mixed with some classic putter shapes, makes for a range that is certainly going to appeal to a wide range of players.

As you would expect, the AI face inserts are designed to make your mishits – yes, they happen with the putter as well – more workable, and to keep your ball moving in the right direction.

In fact, the team at Odyssey say that even the best players in the world will strike putts away from the centre of the face at times, which then leads to putts coming up short.

The Ai-One range, Odyssey say, will revolutionise the game, by harnessing Callaway‘s cutting-edge technology and supercomputing capabilities to craft the most advanced golf insert ever. Basically, the AI tech allowed a computer to explore as many different options for a face insert as possible, in a short space of time, with the team picking the best option. And here they are…Odyssey has infused AI enhancements into their inserts, which is designed to deliver consistent ball speeds from strikes across the entire face.

• FootJoy adds to Traditions range

• Galvin Green’s new OPEN SKIES collection

The innovative multi-material construction features unique contours on the back of the face, effectively minimising speed losses on off-centre hits and expanding the sweet spot.

All this, Odyssey say, will help your putts to stop up to 21% closer to the hole.

The team designed the insert’s back with aluminium and incorporated a White Hot Urethane layer on the striking surface to deliver the iconic White Hot feel you associate with Odyssey putters.

Its enhancements deliver an incredible blend of feel, speed control, and reliability, effectively revolutionising your putting experience.

The insert is a clear standout in this Ai -One design. Odyssey’s unique aspect of it shows the contours of the design on the back. A Panlite window has been engineered, making these contours visible, complemented by an automotive-grade polymer that provides exceptional clarity and scratch resistance.

• Abacus PDX rain jacket is a stand out for winter

• Callaway’s latest rain gear is perfect for the off-season

These feature a lightweight steel shaft with 20-30 grams of counterbalance weight in the butt end, designed to appeal to an even broader range of golfers, thanks to the weighting in the head. There’s the choice to select a five, ten, 15 or 20 gram weight in the head of your putter for extra adjustability.

All Ai-One putters feature a striking navy blue PVD finish, which we think looks great.

The models that will be available in November 2023 will be the#1, Double Wide DB, Rossie S, #7 S and the #7 CH.

In February 2024, we will see nine more models being launched including new hosel options and new shapes including the Mini Jailbird and 2-Ball OG.

RRP: £289
