FootJoy TempoSeries apparel review

If you’re looking for new outerwear or layering pieces for 2024 the the new TempoSeries collection from FootJoy has you covered.  The new range of technical outerwear for men and women is designed for all-year-round wear. A cool feature is the lightweight, highly technical fabrics have temperature regulating characteristics to keep you either warm or cool depending on the conditions. So what can we expect in this new range, lets find out…

The First Look

What we can expect from the new FootJoy TempoSeries is pastel and navy colours, vests, hoodies mid layers and jackets. The men’s range has three options in the Tech Midlayer, Sun Hoodie and Lightweight Softshell Vest. The women’s range features the Pullover Hoodie, Sun Protection Shirt, and the Full Zip Colour Block Jacket for brilliant layering options.

The Tech

So what technical benefits can you expect?

The new FootJoy TempoSeries pieces are breathable, moisture wicking, water resistant, and have that stretch which allows you to play with freedom. As mentioned previously you have the Tech Mid layer, a woven knit mesh fabric mix with stretch woven on shoulders for durability. You also have the mesh back panel for breathability with the midlayer being complete with a DWR finish.

If you’re looking to keep up with modern trends the Hoodie is a great option especially as it has 50+ UPF fabric. It features a crossover hood, moisture wicking & antimicrobial fabric and zippered mesh chest pocket.

Lightweight, windproof and DWR treated the Softshell vest will keep you dry and protect from the elements this summer.

Moving on to the ladies range, the Pullover Hoodie Sun Protection Shirt is perfect for layering up to keep you comfortable. With a moisture-wicking fabric you will stay cool and with the UPF 50 you’ll be protected from the sun. The Full Zip Colour Block Jacket features a bi-stretch woven body which keeps you comfortable, and it’s stretchy and moves with you when swinging. It’s also DWR treated to keep you protected when your caught in the rain.

“We are really excited at FootJoy to offer a new apparel range that stands out within the current golfing landscape. TempoSeries contains materials that are both versatile and comfortable providing golfers all-day protection from changing temperatures and natural elements. With our new colour and technical stories in both our men’s and women’s SS’24 collections, we are providing golfers innovative, fashionable and practical garments that make every day playable.”
