Premium outerwear giants Galvin Green launched part two of their 2023 range today, with a range of designs inspired by the ocean.

The latest designs include everything from waterproof jackets to hoodies and shirts, with Galvin Green saying they will resonate with golfers who like playing coastal courses.

The range is introducing over 100 new pieces to golfers, working with responsibly sourced bluesign approved fabrics across all categories, for more sustainable products.

“The maritime world plays a key role at many golfing venues around the world and so we wanted to showcase this aspect in our latest all-encompassing golf apparel collection,” said Designer Batur Raza Muhammad.

“These distinctive designs feature some of our brightest and popular colours to deliver stylish looks, while the use of the latest high-tech fabric technologies guarantees our promise of unrivalled performance that golfers have come to expect from Galvin Green,” he added.

Here’s a look at highlights of the collection that includes offerings for men, women and junior golfers.

Men’s collection

Jackets

The Axley half-zip is the highlight of this range, which features a classic Galvin Green look. This timeless design features a mesh lining for added warmth, as well as shaped sleeves, adjustable cuffs and chest tabs for easy movement and a comfortable fit. It comes in three modern colourways, including the nautical-themed Navy/Blue/White option.

The jacket range features 27 pieces, with three waterproof trouser options to match with them. These waterproof trouser options are the Alpha, Andy and Arthur pieces.

Mid-layers

The eco-generation Insula range of warm mid-layers now includes the Durante. Available in three striking patterns, the sweater features Thermore padding on the shoulders and back for extra comfort and warmth. Also in this range is the Desmond hoodie, keeping with a popular trend in golf.

Shirts

It’s not just waterproof outerlayers that Galvin Green offer. They have a wide range of shirts, including the Malcolm and Mo, that feature maritime inspired prints, inspired by classic links courses. The leading Ventil8 Plus range of shirts provide excellent moisture-transportation properties and breathability to keep the body dry, while offering UV 20+ protection in warmer temperatures.

Women’s collection

Jackets

The Aida waterproof jacket comes with lightweight mesh lining for better warmth while maintaining breathability. It features a two-way front zipper for a perfect fit and comes in a super eye-catching Coral/White/Cool Grey option for a perfect blend of functionality and style.

Also part of this range is the Leora, made from stretch fabric and thermore padding for a warming effect, making this a versatile piece of clothing.

Mid-layers

A new addition to Galvin Green’s line this year is the Darlena, the brand’s first ever padded women’s sweater. As you would expect from Galvin Green, this is an extremely warm and breathable option for on the course.

There’s also a hoodie option for women, with the Dagmar crafted using lightweight material, making it ideal for wearing under a jacket.

Shirts

The Malena features more marine inspired colourways, in the Ventil8 Plus range of shirts, coming in a navy, white and blue bell colourway.

Junior’s collection

For younger golfers, the Ryker hoodie is the standout piece. Designed to give great comfort on the course, it also gives junior golfers a great look. The Raz sweater is another new addition, with an ocean themed blue colour scheme.

The junior offerings feature a range of accessories such as caps, belts and bandanas, as well as shorts, skorts and base layer thermals.
