Jim Furyk carded a historic 58 in the final round at the Travelers Championship with many of the same clubs he used to shoot 59 in the BMW Championship in 2013.
Furyk carded the lowest round in PGA Tour history on Sunday and he did so while still using Callaway RAZR X Forged irons and Odyssey Versa #1W putter that he’s had in the bag for a number of years.

In fact, Furyk isn’t one to change his gear very often at all. He only put two new products in the bag for the 2016 season. The first of those was the Callaway Big Bertha Alpha 816 3-wood, while the other was the new Callaway Chrome Soft golf ball.
Interestingly, Furyk uses KBS Tour 115R shafts in his irons, making him the only person on Callaway’s PGA Tour staff to use regular shafts in his irons.

Callaway makes awesome debut on Instagram stories
Last week, Instagram rolled out its new ‘stories’ feature to all of its users allowing them to share images and clips with followers for a 24-hour period. It came as no surprise social media savvy Callaway were the first manufacturer to jump on this and their first story was seriously cool.
Look out for the Arnold Palmer logo wedges being lasered for the King himself and Henrik Stenson’s commemorative gold Odyssey putter for winning the Open Championship.

Aguilar takes MyJoys to the max
With golf’s return to the Olympics only a matter of days away, we’ve already seen most of the special gear competitors will be using. Chilean competitor Felipe Aguilar almost sneaked this one under the radar but his customised designs from FootJoy’s MyJoys platform might well be the most impressive we’ve seen so far. Judge them for yourself.
