There’s a new option in the Ping G430 range, with the G430 LST 3-wood launching today.

This 3-wood, which features a low-spinning, tour-style design, comes with a carbonfly wrap, a Ti-Facewrap and Ping’s spinsistency technology, all of which is designed to give you more speed and distance.

Ping says this club produces, on average, seven yards more distance than the previous, equivalent model.

The club will be available in 15°, but comes with an adjustable hosel, with 1.5° either side, as well as the ability to put the club to 3° flat.

The newest addition to Ping’s range comes with a fast and flexible titanium face wrap for increased ball speed. It also has a forgiving, lightweight body with an 80g tungsten sole plate.

It has a composite crown on the clubhead, which will save weight and lower the centre of gravity.

Finally, the face has a variable roll radius, which provides consistent spin levels across the face, even on mishits. This is what Ping call spinsistency.

The club comes with five different shaft options, with two of those being Ping’s own shafts. There’s also an alta CB option, a Mitsubishi Kai’li white shaft and a Project X HZRDUS Smoke Red RDX shaft available.

“We’re excited to bring this score-lowering technology to golfers during the heart of the golf season to give them a long and versatile 3-wood to help them lower their scores and raise their enjoyment on the course,” said John K. Solheim, PING CEO & President.

“The lightweight properties of titanium and the density of tungsten open a lot of possibilities to improve performance. The results are phenomenal. The G430 LST 3-wood goes forever and sounds amazing.

“It’s already in the bags of tour players around the world. We look forward to getting the new fairway wood in the hands of golfers who want the best of multi-material technology.”
