FootJoy’s limited edition US Open shoe is a sight to behold.

The brand-new Premiere Series Centennial Wilcox will debut at this week’s US Open.

The shoes are designed to celebrate the 100-year anniversary of the FootJoy brand. Decked out in the iconic red, white and blue colours, a style which FootJoy first adopted at the 1973 US Open.

• Old grips are costing you distance

Part of FootJoy’s Premiere Series, you’ll find these shoes kitted out with the premium materials you’d expect from the #1 Shoe in Golf.

The patent leather on the top of the shoes will keep them looking excellent for a long time.

They also feature the VersaTrax+ outsole, that will give you all the traction you need no matter where you find yourself.

As well as that, the eyelet and ornaments feature a striking gold finish, a small touch that goes a long way to separate this design from any other.

The shoe is also packaged with a 100-year medallion, to celebrate FootJoy’s anniversary.

It’s not the first time FootJoy has released a stunning shoe on the eve of a major championship. At the US PGA, they delivered the Todd Snyder designed Back Tees collection.

This time around, they’ve delivered something iconic, a great addition to a now huge line of shoes.

They’ll be available to buy from Thursday 15 June, while stocks last, so if you want to secure your pair then act fast.
