Shot Scope launches MyStrategy for pre-round preparation

Shot Scope has unveiled a brand-new addition to its award-winning platform, which allows users to plan out their round before they get to the course. Say hello to MyStrategy.

Users of a Shot Scope product can now plan ahead before their round, via the mobile app or on a desktop device, thanks to MyStrategy. This new addition will take data from your previous 30 shots hit with a club, and overlay your shot patterns over a map of each hole on any golf course.

This innovation will allow players to accurately plan out the best possible strategy for their game, meaning they won’t need to rely on generic tips that might not work for everyone’s game.

As with play on the day, you can also adjust strategy based on different elements like the wind and elevation. This ensures that no matter the conditions faced on the day, you’ll have the best understanding of how to play an individual hole based on your own stats and information.

Also, players can add notes on each hole, where you can detail strategy and leave reminders for when you get to the tee.

Once you’ve saved your strategy, it will automatically transfer to your app, so you can check the best way to play each hole while you’re out on the course.

Users of a Shot Scope device currently have access to the Edinburgh-based company’s app, where they can find hundreds of stats on their games.

Now, they’ll be able to plan how to play every hole at any course, regardless of whether they’ve played there beforehand.
