Rory McIlroy turned pro in 2007 and joined the PGA Tour in 2010. The former world No.1 added two more wins to his name in 2023 – the Hero Dubai Desert Classic and Genesis Scottish Open – to take his career total to 37, which includes those four major championships. But what clubs does he use? Here’s the full Rory McIlroy WITB rundown…

What’s in Rory McIlroy’s bag?

McIlroy’s biggest sticking point throughout his career has been his putter. He has played around with this a lot in recent years, switching from his TaylorMade Spider X Hydro Blast putter to the Scotty Cameron T-5.5 Proto and then back to the trusty Spider.

He likes to mix things up in the links season, too. In 2023, for example, he swapped out his TaylorMade Stealth 2 Plus 5-wood for the Stealth UDI and P760 2-iron, so expect to see him do something similar this year.

He’s recently added a new addition to the bag replacing his P760 4 iron for a new Prototype iron which from what we can see seems to be working.

This was added in on the week of the Texas Valero Open where McIlroy finished in third. It has been put in play as it is more responsive when switching from his 5-iron and delivers the same distance.

Now it’s similar in look to the P7MC which could potentially mean this might be a new iron model we might see released.

With the Masters starting this week, this is the gear we’re expecting Rory to use at the Masters. Augusta National has been a course McIlroy has come ever so close on several times. Could 2024 be the year he claims a Green Jacket?
