Rory McIlroy reached sporting immortality when he won the 2025 Masters and completed the career grand slam. Here’s the full Rory McIlroy WITB rundown.

What’s in Rory McIlroy’s bag?

McIlroy’s biggest sticking point throughout his career has been his putter. He has played around with this a lot in recent years, switching from his TaylorMade Spider X Hydro Blast putter to the Scotty Cameron T-5.5 Proto and then back to the TaylorMade Spider Tour X3, which is still in the bag.

As the 2025 season begun, McIlroy looked to be making the switch to the new TaylorMade Qi35 woods. Ahead of the Arnold Palmer Invitational at Bay Hill, he was testing the new clubs, but they didn’t last too long in the bag. They were there for three rounds, but McIlroy opted to put the old woods back in play for the final loop at Bay Hill.

However, at the RBC Canadian Open, McIlroy has put the latest TaylorMade woods in play. The TaylorMade Qi35 model now features in his driver and 3-wood. Interestingly, McIlroy also swapped out his TaylorMade Qi10 5-wood for a 3-iron, the P770 Proto model.

McIlory has also made a subtle but significant ball change, swapping out the TaylorMade TP5x for the softer-feeling TaylorMade TP5. That softer feeling ball is clearly working for McIlroy who has enjoyed an electric and historic 2025 so far.

Here’s the full rundown on his set-up in 2025.
