Spiked golf shoes are still incredibly popular, despite the rise of spikeless models. But, which models of spiked golf shoes are the best of 2025? Let's take a closer look.
If you’re someone who plays golf in difficult conditions, where you’re likely to slip on uneven surfaces, having a solid pair of spiked shoes is a huge benefit. Or, if you're someone who just wants that extra level of confidence and grip on the course, these shoes can help you too.
There’s a reason that tour pros often wear spiked golf shoes, despite playing on some of the best surfaces on the planet. Spikes can offer that extra level of support and traction on the course, which can give you confidence to put your best swing on the ball.
Best Spiked Golf Shoes 2025
Without further ado, let’s look at the best spiked golf shoes 2025 has to offer...

PROS
- Fit, performance and durability are the priorities here
- The three stripes is an iconic look
- Impressive grip thanks to well designed spike pattern
CONS
- The leather needs to be well taken care of or it will start to bunch
First up in this alphabetical list is the Adidas Tour 360 shoes. You'll be familiar with the look of these shoes, which are an update to an already incredibly popular franchise. We're confident in saying that the latest models are some of the best spiked golf shoes on the market right now.
On the tech side of things, Adidas applied their efforts in three key categories. These are fit, performance and durability, all things that should be key considerations in buying a pair of golf shoes. Firstly, on the fit aspect, Adidas designers included a sockliner, which connects to the tongue to help your feet lock in on the shoes, as well as a new arch and heel design for increased comfort. In performance, there's a new Torsion Bridge, which sits under the midsole and Jet Boost in the heel, which helps with stability. Then, in durability, golfers can expect to find a microfibre heel, which will resist the wear and tear you see in other golf shoes, as well as excellently made leather on the upper of the shoe. It's worth noting that this upper needs well looked after, or the leather will bunch.
Overall, these are some of the best spiked golf shoes on the market for 2025. They are at a good price point and come packed with style and features that make these very appealing.

PROS
- Certainly look the part
- Very durable
- Softspikes are incredibly grippy on any surface
- Now available in an attractive black colourway
CONS
- Quality comes at a high cost
If you want more of a classic look then Duca Del Cosma will be right up your street. The Bernardo now comes in a black colourway that we are big fans of and the spiked technology remains impressive.
Duca del Cosma are well known for their high quality golf shoes and these are their most stable shoe to date, with the exclusive advanced technology of a lightweight ‘Airplay 6’ sole, they feature a premium waterproof material and are handcrafted for exceptional comfort. They also feature an EVA midsole for lightweight, durable shock absorption and a TPU outsole with toe protector for added performance during the swing. Importantly for us, these feature Pulsar Soft Spikes which offer tremendous grip on the fairways, and wherever else you might find yourself on the course.
If you’re looking for a spiked shoe that comes with the comfort and great looks of a spikeless option, Duca del Cosma could be for you.

PROS
- Impressive spiked performance
- Ecco performance leather will last for ages
- Would keep your feet dry in a swimming pool (probably)
CONS
- Not the most sporty looking
Ecco might now be more associated with spikeless shoes, but they do make an impressive spiked model in the form of the Biom Tour. With great quality spikes and impressive leather uppers, they are certainly worth considering.
The Ecco M Biom Tour shoes bring brilliant levels of stability and comfort, as well as being great when it comes to performing in the worst of the conditions. These aren’t just comfortable, but extremely stable, too. The Pivix spikes are combined with additional grooves on the outsole of the shoe for supreme traction on any surface. When you get these in your hands, you'll be able to see the impressive spikes these offer. Although it's subjective, we do think there are more sporty looking options in this list, but you might love them.
These are undoubtedly a great option for a golfer looking for excellent build quality in their spiked golf shoes.

PROS
- All the colourways look smashing in the new style
- Tremendous levels of stability
- Spikes and outsole combine for brilliant traction
- New heel design is so comfortable straight from the box
CONS
- Hard to find fault with these
The new FootJoy HyperFlex range carries a new look, as well as some new features. All of this combines to make these some of the best spiked golf shoes of 2025.
FootJoy make a pair of golf shoes for every golfer. If you want pure comfort, you can opt for the Quantum, but if you want traditional looks, you can go for the Premiere Series. Of course, lots of golfers need something that sits in the middle and it could well be the new HyperFlex shoes. These are very comfortable, thanks to the StratoFOAM cushioning that FootJoy has introduced to them. That brings the perfect blend of comfort and stability on the course. As well as that, there's the TruFIT system, which helps to lock your heel in place, as well as give exceptional comfort to the back of your foot. Crucially for this list, you'll also find the LP Pulsar Cleats to provide high levels of grip, along with an impressive OptiFlex outsole.
These are certainly some of the best spiked golf shoes on the market this year. They carry a fresh and sporty look, are so stable and help you to get the most out of your swing.

PROS
- Stunning and traditional looks
- Variety of styles, we love the Field LX on show on here
- Build quality is second to none so it's no surprise these are popular on tour
- The addition of spikes only adds to a top quality shoe
CONS
- You might find a softer feel in the HyperFlex above
If you want something a little more traditional from FootJoy, look no further than the Premiere Series Field range. These are now only offered in spiked models and the Field LX, pictured above, is the pick of the bunch in our opinion.
In terms of sheer beauty, we don't think you'll beat these shoes from FootJoy, but they also perform well too. Full grain leather throughout the design means that these are luxurious to the touch, which helps with durability and comfort. Then, there's the EVA Midsole which helps with stability in your swing, as well as comfort while you're walking the golf course. That comfort is boosted by the OrthoLite EcoPlush FitBed, which is comfortable on your feet. There's also the VersaTrax+ Outsole which helps with grip, along with the Pulsar LP Cleats.
No doubt about it, these are excellent golf shoes. A classic look along with modern performance makes them a standout in this category.

PROS
- Stunning to look at, almost too nice to want to get on the course!
- Great grip from the spike system
- Very easy to clean and keep looking the part thanks to TPU leather
CONS
- We love the insoles, but they won't be for everyone
When we first tested the G/Fore Gallivan2r shoes, we suggested that they'd be even better with some spikes on them. And now, that's exactly what they have!
The Gallivan2r G/Lock shoes feature all the benefits of a spikeless golf shoe, but with the addition of spikes. The first thing you'll notice about these shoes is the insole, which is very distinctive and unique to G/Fore. Essentially, this massages your foot as you walk along the fairway, and it really does help to keep you feeling light on your feet. These shoes are very lightweight and the TPU leather is super durable and easy to clean. As well as that, the G/Lock cleats help to keep your feet planted in the swing and are easily replaceable.
These shoes are ultra lightweight and supremely comfortable. Crucially, however, for this list, they are very stable, thanks to the Softspikes on the sole.

PROS
- Great options in looks in these shoes
- Spike system has been well thought out
- Full grain leather upper is high quality
CONS
- Not a huge upgrade on previous editions, but they were great too
Another footwear giant, you can be sure that you’re getting quality shoes with Nike. That quality extends to their golf shoes and the Air Zoom Victory Tour 3 shoes have been on the feet of the likes of Rory McIlroy, so you know that you're going to get quality.
These feature spikes in all the key areas of your sole, with the Silver Tornado spikes from Softspikes giving you grip in the lateral and heel locations. Additionally, the Zoom Air unit that sits in these shoes helps with increased energy return, helping you with comfort while walking around the course, as well as transferring energy through the ground into your swing. The full-grain upper leather is top quality and helps to keep your feet dry as well as helping the durability of this shoe.
If you’re looking for an iconic brand to wear on the course and prefer a sporty look, you can’t go wrong with the Nike Air Zoom Victory Tour 3.

PROS
- UA's most comfortable shoe to date
- Impressive tech is instantly noticeable
- Categorically proven to improve your game
- The new colourways are lovely, more details on them below
CONS
- We're yet to find a fault with these
These were an addition to the market in 2024 and still stand the test of time into 2025. These were designed with the help of JJ Rivet and Jordan Spieth, a pretty formidable pairing of technical know-how and golf talent. And now, they're available in a new gold colourway, which is pretty sensational.
In testing carried out by our Gear Editor, James Tait, these shoes actually boosted his swing speed. If that's not enough of an endorsement, we don't know what is! Additionally, these shoes feature a revolutionary three-layer system, which supports the natural movement of the golfer, with biomechanically correct diagonal and lateral support for golfers to unlock the power in their swing. In the midsole, UA has developed the only dual-density midsole in golf. Featuring Under Armour’s ‘Hovr Foam’ and a more supportive ‘Charged Cushioning’ where it’s needed to help guide the foot in the swing.
All that tech is great, but these really do make a difference to your on-course experience, such is their comfort. We’re big fans.
