If you’ve ever played golf in shoes that let water into your feet, then you’ll know how important it is to have a pair of golf shoes that are waterproof. Here’s our list of the best waterproof golf shoes of 2024. You really won’t find many things worse on the golf course than playing with wet feet. That’s why it’s so important that you have a pair of golf shoes that are going to protect you from the elements. While almost every brand claims their golf shoes are waterproof, that isn’t always the case, so it’s essential that you have a pair that really do keep out any moisture. Of course, while we want shoes to be waterproof, if we were buying purely on that basis, we would play in boots, and that’s not going to be helpful for good golf either. Golf shoes need to tick the box of being comfortable, supportive while you’re swinging, as well as stylish. But what are some of the best waterproof golf shoes on the market? Let’s take a closer look.

adidas tour 360
adidas Tour 360
A sporty looking pair of golf shoes that are going to keep your feet dry in any weather.

PROS

 • The iconic three stripes design more than looks the part
 • Packed with tech to make them comfortable and stable
 • Spiked design makes these great in all conditions

CONS

 • If you have the previous generation, those will perform very well too
Available for £159 from adidas
Firstly in our alphabetically ordered list, we look to the adidas tour 360 golf shoes, which are new for 2024. Of course, the tour 360 range has been around for nearly two decades, but this latest iteration is the best yet.

We know to expect quality in any footwear from adidas, whether that is in casual trainers or golf shoes designed for high performance. That’s no different in this offering from the three stripes brand. The Tour 360’s have been designed with Fit, Performance and Durability in mind, and are certainly robust enough to tackle any conditions on the golf course. In particular, the new Torsion Bridge inside the shoe will help keep your feet stable, thanks to a rigid top plate and flexible sole. As well as that, it helps golfers to produce power more effectively through their swing.

All in all, this is a stylish shoe that is jam packed with technology. If you like something sporty that will fully protect your feet from the elements, then you could do a lot worse than these.

Duca del Cosma Davanti
Duca del Cosma Davanti
A super stylish range of shoes from Duca del Cosma that will perform too.

PROS

 • Will appeal to someone who likes a colourful option
 • Italian Nappa leather makes these super durable
 • Spikeless option but still very stable

CONS

 • Quality comes at a price
Available for £199 from Duca del Cosma
Another brand-new addition for 2024 is the Duca del Cosma Davanti. This golf shoe is certainly stylish, while being functional, with the premium Italian leather certainly making these waterproof.

The Davanti shoe incorporates the super technical Airplay 15 outsole to give the best performance possible. Inside, there’s a bootie system which is designed to give the best possible waterproof performance, essentially adding another layer of protection for your feet. While these are spikeless shoes, the nubs on the bottom of the soles will give you plenty traction, even if you’re playing in wet conditions.

Overall, this is another top option for golfers looking for waterproof golf shoes. You can be assured of top quality from Duca del Cosma and their 2024 range is no different.

 • Fluidform technology delivers incredible comfort
 • Ecco LYTR makes these very light but still top performing
 • Outsole gives great traction on full swings

CONS

 • There are more sporty looking options in this list
Available for £170 from Ecco
When it comes to all-round performance, it’s hard to see past Ecco shoes for the golf course. The brand makes some pretty bold claims when it comes to performance with their 2024 models. Let’s see what they’re all about.

Ecco tell us that they’ve changed the game when it comes to lightness and comfort in their golf shoes. That’s thanks to the ECCO LYTR Technology, which helps to make this extremely comfortable while walking the course. Of course, you’re here to see how waterproof this golf shoe is, and like anything from Ecco, this is going to withstand the elements without a doubt.

This style will appeal to plenty of golfers and it will certainly perform well. A really solid option.

FootJoy Premiere Series Field
FootJoy Premiere Series Field LX
Is there a list of golf shoes that these wouldn’t appear on? Top quality.

PROS

 • Incredibly good looking, especially the new models
 • Impressive technology advancements
 • Spiked models make these super stable

CONS

 • These will get dirty and you don’t want to spoil the great looks
Available for £189.99 from FootJoy
Would it really be a best golf shoe list without the FootJoy Premiere Series? These would slot nicely into the best-looking golf shoes list, the best performing golf shoes list and the best overall shoes list. But, we’re here to see the best waterproof golf shoes of 2024.

Of course, these fit the bill for that, too, as you would expect from FootJoy. Recently, FootJoy has expanded this range with the addition of the Premiere Field LX and the Premiere Field Bel Air. Both of these shoes look the part, but how will they perform in wet conditions? The premium full grain leather design means these are going to last for a very long time on the golf course, while the VersaTrax sole means you’re not going to get any moisture making its way to your feet from the ground. In 2024, Premiere Series shoes will now be exclusively spiked models, making them even more stable underfoot and perfect for those looking for style and quality.

What else is there to say? The FootJoy Premiere Series range offers golfers fantastic waterproof capabilities, while allowing them to look the part on the course too.

FootJoy Pro SLX Carbon
FootJoy Pro SL/X Carbon
An improvement on FootJoy’s best selling golf shoe.

PROS

 • Packed with tech, including the outsole which distributes weight throughout your swing
 • Addition of carbon helps to keep you stable
 • Great range of colourways

CONS

 • We prefer the looks of the Premiere Series, but that’s down to individual taste
Available for £189.99 from FootJoy
Brand-new for 2024, the FootJoy Pro SLX Carbon shoes are a spikeless option from FootJoy which builds on their previous offering, which was the best selling golf shoe on the market.

The outsole on these has been designed with traction in mind and modelled on racing cars, to ensure your weight is transferred efficiently throughout the golf swing. Although these are spikeless, the traction and control you get underfoot from them is excellent, and the waterproof ability is top notch. The ChromoSkin leather on the outside of the shoe will aid with durability as well as keeping them waterproof.

These are a big change by FootJoy, but they really do deliver when it comes to being a quality golf shoe. Don’t be surprised to see these out on tour.

G/Fore Gallivan2r golf shoe
G/Fore Gallivan2r
Some of the best looking golf shoes on the market.

PROS

 • Huge range of styles that all look top notch
 • Comfort straight from the box
 • Moulded heel cup provides fantastic stability

CONS

 • Look so good you don’t want to get them muddy
Available for £150 from G/Fore
This isn’t a brand we were too familiar with here at bunkered, but the Gallivan2r is a stunning shoe that will perform just as good as it looks.

The first thing you’ll notice with the G/Fore Gallivan2r is the insole, which is moulded in a way where the bumps in the sole press into your foot. You might get a surprise at first with this, but once you start walking, you’ll find these really add a spring to your step. The upper on these shoes not only looks great, but it’s waterproof and will help you battle the elements without an issue. Also, the heel cap design really does help your foot to stay locked in during the swing, making it a super stable option on the course.

You’ll struggle to find better looking golf shoes, which also combine supreme comfort with waterproof ability.
Credit: Payntr
Payntr X 004 RS
Payntr X 004 RS
Payntr started out in life making cricket shoes, so you know you’re getting comfort.

PROS

 • Out of the box comfort
 • Enough stability for one of the game’s longest hitters (bunkered’s Gear Editor!)
 • Technology helps to get maximum performance, while keeping your feet dry

CONS

 • You need to go down a size which might confuse some
Available for £169.99 from Payntr
This might not be a name you’re familiar with, but Payntr is an upcoming brand in the golf shoe game. They’re becoming better known and that’s because they make quality footwear, just like the X 004 RS.

If you struggle with blisters with golf shoes, then these could very well be the option for you. These come with a blister-free guarantee, something we’ve not seen in golf shoes before. James Tait reviewed them in 2023 and has used them on the course regularly since then. If they provide enough stability for a man who can drive the ball 452 yards, then they’ll provide stability for you and I. When it comes to waterproofing, the Clarino Trivela provides excellent resistance from the rain.

A great option, particularly if you want something that stands out from the crowd.

Puma Phantomcat Nitro
Puma Phantomcat Nitro
Colourful golf shoes that certainly pack a punch.

PROS

 • Flexspikes cover a large area of the sole for added stability
 • Exoshell upper provides great protection from the elements
 • Great price point from Puma

CONS

 • The louder colours won’t be for everyone
Available for £130 from Puma
As spiked designs on golf shoes go, this one is certainly unusual, but we’re big fans of the Puma Phantomcat Nitro. These are certainly colourful, and with the technology inside, they’ll perform well too.

It would be remiss not to mention the nitrogen element of these shoes, which is there to help you with the energy transfer while you’re walking the golf course. As well as that, it’s going to let you get the most out of each shot you hit. We can confidently say that this is the only shoe on this list that features nitrogen in its construction. Of course, the Flexspike design is unique too, and is going to provide aggressive traction when hitting shots, making these perfect for poor conditions.

If you want a colourful and high performing pair of golf shoes, then look no further than these from Puma.
Credit: Under Armour
Under Armour Drive Pro
Under Armour Drive Pro
Golf shoes that are designed by a professional golfer and biomechanist.

PROS

 • These shoes helped our Gear Editor hit the ball further. What more is there to say?
 • They look the part on your feet
 • Under Armour’s most comfortable shoe to date

CONS

 • We’ll let you know when we find one
Available for £150 from Under Armour
This is one of our favourite shoes of 2024 and it’s largely thanks to the technology that goes into the Under Armour Drive Pro shoes. Our Gear Editor James Tait is wearing these to test out clubs this year, which is a pretty big endorsement, as you’ll not find someone who swings the club faster in the country. Also, he plays in the east of Scotland, where the weather can be challenging to say the least.

These shoes were designed by biomechanist JJ Rivet, with the help of Jordan Spieth. A pretty lethal combination of scientific knowledge and golf skill, I’m sure you would agree. The Drive Pro range carries a one-year waterproof warranty, but we’re sure they will more than outlast that. From our own testing, we know that when correctly fitted, these shoes can actually add yardage to your drives. A shoe that helps you hit the ball further? What’s not to like?

Not only do these look great, but they undoubtedly perform very well, too. A great option for a golfer looking for a waterproof pair of golf shoes in 2024.
