ECCO LT1 golf shoes review

Ecco has always produced comfortable premium shoes and continues to do so in the brand new ECCO LT1. I have always really enjoyed the shoes and tech that Ecco have produced in the past. Let’s go into the ECCO LT1 golf shoes review.

The First Look

At first glance, you have a spikeless design which looks smart and crisp in colour. When you hold the Ecco LT1 shoe it’s incredibly lightweight and when you slide your foot in to the shoe it feels very comfortable. The spikeless traction design on the sole looks cool in the yellow and various colour options. You’ll like what you see on your feet.

The Tech

Let’s dive in and see what tech is behind the new ECCO LT1.

It’s ultra-light with a state-of-the-art foam which is what ECCO are saying is a game-changing rebound and softness in the ECCO GOLF LT1. The new hybrid shoe for men and women comes in a laced and boa system which and is created using the new ECCO LYTR foam. This is made from an advanced bounce and rebound material that is embedded in the sole via the signature ECCO FLUIDFORM Direct Comfort Technology. The foam is seamlessly combined in the midsole with ECCO’s soft PHORENE, which provides contoured comfort, stability and a long lasting integral bond to the waterproof leather upper.

The technology combines the direct PU injection process with LYTR foam, resulting in a shoe that is both lightweight and supportive. The LYTR foam provides a responsive and cushioned feel while reducing overall weight, and the direct PU injection process ensures a secure and long-lasting fit by hugging the foot’s shape. The spikeless traction features the new E-DTS NET outsole, a fresh take on the E-DTS design that offers multi-directional traction and durability for impressive traction control.

The bunkered Verdict

I like this shoe. It’s comfortable, it looks the part and the traction is excellent. I found when hitting shots that I was stable, and it supported my foot throughout the whole swing. When walking it’s very lightweight and almost feels like you’re walking on a cloud and with the wet damp weather, my feet were nice and dry. I think the Ecco LT1 is a brilliant shoe that is going to be very popular especially over the summer months, with its lightweight cushioning and the spikeless E-DTS NET traction.
