He’s No. 1 in the world, but how far does Scottie Scheffler actually hit the golf ball?

The 2022 Masters champion and current world No.1 is never out of the mix whenever he steps on to the tee. From tee to green he is the most consistent on tour leading Strokes Gained: Tee to Green.

For Scottie Scheffler the standout part of his game his iron play. He leads across the board in these stats, with an average of 76% greens in regulation which is incredibly impressive.

He’s not the longest on tour but he’s still gives it smash with his Qi10 driver hovering around the 300 yard mark. But his iron play with his TaylorMade P7TW irons is the best on tour.

Whilst having the ability to get it close his putting has let him down in the past but a recent switch to the TaylorMade Tour X putter has definitely made a big difference. He averages 5.48 per round on the PGA Tour, a full half shot over the field along with a scoring average of 67.39, which is over a full shot ahead of the next best tour player.

With seven wins in 2024, so far the world no.1 and 2022 Masters champion is having an incredible year.

So, the big question is how far does Scottie Scheffler hit the golf ball on average? Let’s take a closer look…

  • TaylorMade Qi10 driver: 300-yards
  • TaylorMade Qi10 3-wood: 270-yards
  • Srixon ZU85 3-iron: 245-yards
  • Srixon ZU85 4-iron: 226- yards
  • TaylorMade P7TW 5- iron: 212-yards
  • TaylorMade P7TW 6-iron: 198-yards
  • TaylorMade P7TW 7-iron: 184-yards
  • TaylorMade P7TW 8-iron: 170-yards
  • TaylorMade P7TW 9-iron: 156-yards
  • TaylorMade P7TW PW: 144-yards
  • TaylorMade MG4 50° SB wedge: 131-yards
  • TaylorMade MG4 56° SB wedge: 118-yards
  • TaylorMade MG4 60° LB wedge: 105-yards

As you can see, the whole way through the bag the gapping between his irons is very consistent and then when you move up to the fairways and driver it really starts to jump in distance.
