So we really liked this video that TaylorMade posted on its social media pages of Tiger Woods talking us through the brand’s new Qi10 driver.

Woods, who is entering his eighth season as a TaylorMade staffer, opens by revealing that he will put the LS – or low spin – model – in his bag ahead of his 2024 schedule.

“This driver, aesthetically to my eyes, is very pleasing because I’ve always liked a very straight and clean top line,” he continues.

“The top line is very important to me, aesthetically, and seeing a straight, clean top line helps me line up a shot easily.”

He added: “I love how it’s traditionally pear-shaped, that’s how I’ve liked my drivers to look.

“I know it’s different having a blue face to a red face, but the top line to me is the more attractive part of the driver. I know from testing that I’m hitting it slightly further, the mishits are more condensed, they’re not as off-line, I’m not spraying the ball quite as much.

“It is slightly hotter, slightly faster, but definitely more forgivable and I think that’s one of the things that everyone is going to love about trying this new Qi10.”
