Wells Fargo Championship 2024: Prize money payout in full

Rory McIlroy put on a Sunday clinic in Charlotte to lift his 26th PGA Tour title and a fourth Wells Fargo Championship.

The 35-year-old trailed Xander Schauffele by one shot entering the final round but, come close of play, turned the tables on his rival by six strokes.

In notching his second consecutive win, McIlroy said the “stars are aligning” ahead of his next major bid at the PGA Championship this week, whilst earning another $3.6 million payout.

It wasn’t all bad for Schauffele, as the Signature Event status of the tournament meant he banked over $2 million for his efforts.

Meanwhile, even Ben An in third place cleared seven figures with a $1.36 million payday.

Defending champion Wyndham Clark was unable to land any real blow on the limited field, but cashed in for just over $50,000 as a result of a T47 finish.
