One of the biggest characters in professional golf, Tyrrell Hatton is certainly entertaining to watch.
Whether you’re a fan of the Englishman or not, there’s not denying that Hatton is a top player. Before his move to the LIV Golf League, Hatton was ranked in the top 20 of the OWGR for a long time.
That’s thanks to him winning six times on the DP World Tour and once on the PGA Tour. Always a consistent performer in the majors, Hatton made the cut in all four majors in 2022 and 2023.
In his bag, Hatton is a Ping staffer. Whether that will change or not after his recent move to LIV remains to be seen, but for now, he’s still using Ping clubs.
In his most recent victory, it was a Ping-heavy bag that he had in play. At the Alfred Dunhill Links Championship,
What’s in Tyrrell Hatton’s bag?
The Englishman has been a Ping player since turning professional back in 2012. Nowadays, he has a pretty up to date Ping setup in his bag.
Hatton’s driver is from the G430 range, as is his 3-wood. Hatton also carries a 7-wood, something which is becoming all the more common on tour, and that’s also a Ping G430 model.
In his irons, Hatton has a combo set of clubs. His 3-iron to 6-iron is made up of Ping i230 clubs, while the shorter irons consist of Ping Blueprint prototype irons.
In the wedges, Hatton has recently made a change, as he’s started to use the new Ping S159 wedges.
Hatton’s putter is something he’s had in the bag for a long time, the Ping Vault Oslo. It’s a mallet shape that clearly fits Hatton’s eye.
Hatton also has the Titleist ProV1x in play, something which he told Titleist is a big part of his success.
“It’s more of a feel thing for me, he said. “I like the fact that it feels a little harder. It’s got a bit more of a click off the face. And for me, especially around the greens, that’s a big plus. I just feel like I have a bit more control, and I feel like it spins a little bit more as well.”
Here’s all the details on his kit.
