A late charge from the Swede on the back nine at the K Club saw Vincent Norrman secure victory at the Horizon Irish Open.

Vincent Norrman chalked up his second DP World Tour victory in six starts, shooting a seven-under-par 65 to finish clubhouse leader at the Horizon Irish Open, putting the pressure on the chasing field.

It was a very steady round to start with a two-under-par front nine, but then with a streak of birdies on 10,11,13 and 14, he was right in the mix.

He capped off the superb back nine with a birdie on 18, shooting a 32 to give him the clubhouse lead at 14-under-par.

Hurly Long was the closest to Norrman, carding a birdie on 18 to take outright second with a level par round, finishing at 13 under for the tournament.

Ireland’s Shane Lowry put on a great show through the week, finishing tied third at –12, with three rounds of four-under-par and a level-par-round of 72.

The Swede stood out off the tee, as he finished fourth in Strokes Gained with +1.08 per round, and he was fifth in SG: Tee to Green (+2.22 per round).

He hit 75% of greens in regulation and ranked 9th in Scrambling, getting up and down 72% of the time.

None of this would be possible if he didn’t have full faith in his equipment, so check out the Horizon Irish open winner’s bag.
