Ludvig Aberg burst onto the professional golf scene in 2023, winning on the DP World Tour within weeks of turning his back on his amateur days before playing a starring role in the Ryder Cup victory in Rome.

But what clubs does the Swedish sensation use? He’s recently signed his first equipment deal, so let’s take a closer look…

What’s in Ludvig Aberg’s bag?

Aberg, who says he often travels with more than 14 clubs to give him options on any given week depending on the demands of the golf course, played his rookie season with a number Titleist clubs in the bag, along with a TaylorMade fairway wood and Odyssey putter. But he is now committed to one brand.

Speaking at the Grant Thornton Invitational at the end of 2023, Aberg said: “Until this past week actually I haven’t had a club deal. I’ve been playing with whatever [but] I signed a club deal with Titleist this past week.” He will play the brand’s driver, irons and wedges.

At the top of the bag is the Titleist TSR2, a driver from a popular range that’s designed for high launch and low spin.

Below that, it’s a range of TaylorMade Stealth 2 fairway woods. Aberg is the latest player to switch to using a wood heavy set-up, with a 3-wood, 5-wood and 7-wood in the bag.

Aberg has a set of T-100 irons from 4-iron to wedge, and he will upgrade from the 2019 model to the newest set for next season.

“I like the way that they sit,” he explained. They can improve my game.

“One of the reasons I made the switch is that they are very similar [to the 2019 model]. I’m not the biggest fan of changing too much, especially your clubs and I like to figure it out myself.”

He added: “The switch was very easy and I feel like this week was a good time to used to it and have a few weeks off and be ready for next year.”

Wedges is another area where Aberg likes to have options, but he generally puts the Vokey SM10 in 50-, 54- and 60-degrees in play.

Aberg has also put a new putter in play. A similar shape to the Odyssey Works Versa he used in the past, he now games an Odyssey White Hot Versa #1.

He also plays a Titleist ball and wears Adidas apparel and shoes.
