Xander Schauffele is the Champion Golfer of the Year, winning the Open Championship, his second major of 2024.
But what clubs does he play? Here’s all the details on the PGA Championship and Open winner’s WITB.
Xander Schauffele has been a professional since 2015, and since then, he’s played plenty of different equipment brands. Schauffele is a Callaway ambassador, although he doesn’t have a full Callaway set up through the bag.
Let’s take a closer look at the equipment that helped Schauffele win his second major title.
What’s in Xander Schauffele’s bag?
Xander Schauffele has been in a man on form this year and fired a sensational final round at Royal Troon to win his first Open Championship.
He has continued with the same set up from the end of 2023, using almost an entire bag of Callaway clubs.
However, it’s a change in his apparel that got people talking.
Although he had a Callaway cap on, Schauffele was missing the Adidas apparel that he has been wearing since the start of his professional career.
Instead, Schauffele was wearing a Descente polo and shorts. You might not have heard of Descente before, but they have experience in golf.
Among other wearers of the brand are Hideki Matsuyama and Danny Willett. Perhaps Schauffele is hoping he can follow in their footsteps and become a Masters champion, too?
One thing we also know that Schauffele has changed is his golf ball. The Callaway Chrome Tour ball launched on January 4, 2024 and Schauffele announced has put that in play.
Either way, it looks like Schauffele will be wearing their apparel in 2024, but sticking with Callaway headwear and Adidas shoes.
Schauffele is also a player who mostly likes to use the latest equipment from the brand, which included the Callaway Ai Smoke Paradym Triple Diamond driver and fairway wood.
Those irons are the stunning looking Callaway Apex TCBs, which he has from 4-iron to pitching wedge.
I am honored to join the Descente Team, a brand that shares a rich history of developing performance and training apparel for a wide variety of sports. I am very grateful for the opportunity to work closely with a storied brand and look forward to contributing to the success of… pic.twitter.com/VklZVinGcb

In the wedges, the two-time Ryder Cup player has two Titleist Vokey wedges, to go with a Callaway Opus in his lowest lofted wedge.
The American’s putter is instantly recognisable, with the red finish making it a standout in the classic No.7 shape.
