6 Masters first-timers who could break the rookie curse

It’s one of the best-known hoodoos in golf.

No rookie has won the Masters since Fuzzy Zoeller in 1979, who remains the last man to pick up a green jacket at the first time of asking.

In fact, only three players have ever won on their first trip down Magnolia Lane.

No fewer than 18 debutants will tee it up at this year’s tournament, many with high hopes of success.

Could 2022 be the year the curse is finally lifted?
