We all wondered if (when) this moment would arrive.

But after 27 years, fifteen-time major champion Tiger Woods has confirmed that he has split from Nike.

One of the most iconic sports partnerships was rumoured to be coming to an end, and a short statement on social media has put those to bed.

Posting on X, Woods wrote: “Over 27 years ago, I was fortunate to start a partnership with one of the most iconic brands in the world. The days since have been filled with so many amazing moments and memories, if I started naming them, I could go on forever.

“Phil Knight’s passion and vision brought this Nike and Nike Golf partnership together and I want to personally thank him, along with the Nike employees and incredible athletes I have had the pleasure of working with along the way.”

Alongside son Charlie, the PNC Championship has turned out to be the last time golf’s biggest star donned the famous swoosh.

Whether Nike remains in the apparel game is one thing, but Tiger’s next move trumps that.

There are plenty of possibilities so, click the next button to find out what Tiger might wear be wearing soon…
