It was the news nobody saw coming, including the PGA Tour’s players.

In a shock statement, it was announced that the PGA Tour, DP World Tour and LIV Golf would be merging in an attempt to unify the sport.

In the statement, it reads that the PIF will have the exclusive right to invest in the new entity, which hasn’t been named yet.

The new commercial entity involving all three tours is said to “ensure a cohesive schedule of events that will be exciting for fans, sponsors and all stakeholders.”

It comes as it appears the bitter feud between the Saudi-backed circuit will merge with the PGA Tour and DP World Tour.

It was news that took everyone by shock, including some of the best players in the world. As the story broke, players had their say.
