Tiger Woods is back.
Woods will make his first competitive appearance since the Masters at the Hero World Challenge in the Bahamas. He returns in the field as host of the limited-field tournament at Albany, which benefits his Tiger Woods Foundation.
Six of the world’s top ten players will tee it up in the $3.5million event, but all eyes will be on Woods and his condition as the 15-time major champion returns after recovering from his subtalar fusion surgery.

Patrick Cantlay and Xander Schauffele have pulled out from the tournament, which is made up of the best available players from the Official World Ranking, the defending champion, and two special exemption players.
And this year, defending champion Viktor Hovland will be going for his third victory in a row in the Bahamas after edging out Scottie Scheffler for a second time last year.
The 20 players in the field will be Hovland, Woods, Scottie Scheffler, Max Homa, Matt Fitzpatrick, Brian Harman, Wyndham Clark, Jordan Spieth, Cameron Young, Keegan Bradley, Collin Morikawa, Tony Finau, Sam Burns, Jason Day, Sepp Straka, Will Zalatoris, Justin Thomas, Rickie Fowler, Justin Rose and Lucas Glover.
Here’s everything you need to know as Tiger makes his return…

Hero World Challenge betting tips
Here’s who the bookies fancy to shine this week…
Viktor Hovland 4/1
Scottie Scheffler 11/2
Max Homa 7/1
Collin Morikawa 7/1
Justin Thomas 14/1
Matt Fitzpatrick 16/1
The bunkered bet
Max Homa 7/1
Tiger Woods is 50/1 in some places to win the tournament, but a real victory for the 15-time major champ would be finishing 72 holes in some kind of comfort. The value this week seems to be with players who are not too rusty having played some form of tournament golf. Scottie Scheffler for example, hasn’t played a stroke play event since the Tour Championship in August.
Scheffler will, of course, still fancy his chances after two runner-up finishes here. But his compatriot Homa is a smart bet with his confidence sky-high after his superb win at the Nedbank Golf Challenge in South Africa.
