On the same weekend as the Super Bowl in Las Vegas, LIV Golf is in town to join the party.

Greg Norman’s enterprises rolls into Vegas for the second tournament on its 14-event calendar in 2024 after the season-opener at Mayakoba.

Jon Rahm, Brooks Koepka and co. will be teeing it up just a stones throw away from the glitz and glamour of the Vegas strip.

And the Saudi-funded circuit will certainly try and capitalise on huge interest in the American football showpiece as it attempts to attract new and younger audiences to its product.

Thousands of sports fans will descend on ‘Sin City’ and LIV bosses will hope many gravitate towards the luxury private Las Vegas Country Club for the tournament from February 8-10.

Bryson DeChambeau is certainly excited to be a part of the sporting bonanza.

“I think this is LIV Golf trying to create a spectacle for the United States to see,” the former US Open champion said.

“We haven’t been highlighted enough here in the States. I can’t wait to see what the response is going to be like with the football fans and the Vegas fans alike. It is a perfect combination for a unique and upbeat environment. There are going to be a lot of fun moments out there, a rowdy crowd, and probably a lot of clip-able moments.”

The bunkered bet

Dean Burmsester 22/1

With Jon Rahm’s odds very short, the South African represents good value as an outside bet this week. He finished T3 alongside the Spaniard in Mayakoba and finished 2023 with back-to-back wins on the DP World Tour. Few players on the Saudi-backed circuit are as sharp as Burmester right now.

Odds will be updated upon release. Please gamble responsibly.
