Major championship golf heads to the Big Apple this week as the PGA Championship tees off in Rochester, New York.
Justin Thomas will be looking to defend his crown at the second major of the year, this time on the East Course at Oak Hill Country Club.
At one of the United States’ most historic major championship venues, the renowned Oak Hill will provide a fair test for players in its centenary year.
• PGA Championship’s biggest earners
Despite a fractured relationship between the PGA Tour and LIV Golf, recent champions Brooks Koepka (2019) and Phil Mickelson (2021) will play their part.
The PGA boasts the strongest field of the four major championships, although 15-time major winner Tiger Woods is sitting out of the 105th staging of the event through injury.
Here is everything you need to know ahead of the hunt for the prestigious Wanamaker trophy.

The bunkered bet
Tony Finau 25/1
The 33-year-old ranks third in strokes gained tee-to-green this year and travels to New York in scintillating form, with two wins this season. Finau has two top-ten finishes in his last five starts at East Lake, one being the 2019 US Open, and a win at Detroit Golf Club last year, both being Donald Ross designs. If Finau is to finally breakthrough in major championships, it could well be at Oak Hill.
