It’s one of the greatest shows in golf – but how can you watch the Solheim Cup live on TV?

There is huge anticipation for this year’s biennial Solheim Cup showdown between Team USA and Team Europe.

Suzann Pettersen’s European side have the chance to create Solheim Cup history with a third successive victory in the match at Finca Cortesin in Spain.

Pettersen has named one of the strongest European teams ever, with Celine Boutier, Charley Hull, Georgia Hall and Leona Maguire spearheading a formidable side.

Stacy Lewis’ American team, meanwhile, are out to avenge a dramatic 15-13 defeat in Toledo in 2021.

The US side includes the breakthrough star Rose Zhang, two-time major champion Lilia Vu and Solheim Cup veteran Lexi Thompson.

It is perhaps the most exciting Solheim Cup yet, so there is no surprise that there is huge interest in the fierce clash across the world of golf.

And another intriguing aspect of this year’s Solheim Cup is that it will be played on Spanish soil for the very first time.

Finca Cortesin, the opulent resort in Andalucia, will stage the biggest team event in women’s golf, with high drama expected in a tight, tense battle.

How to watch the Solheim Cup on TV

After the Opening Ceremony on Thursday 21 September, the 18th edition of the Solheim Cup officially gets underway, with Europe bidding for the unprecedented three-peat against an equally strong American side.

The match will be played across three days from September 22 to September 24.

The traditional format will see two days of foursome and fourball matches before a Sunday singles showdown.

And all the action will be shown live and exclusively in the UK on Sky Sports.

There will also be a highlights show available on free-to-air TV on BBC Two.
