The 2022-2023 PGA Tour’s prize money list is in and the figures are mind-boggling.

We’ve reached the end of another money-spinning season on the US circuit, with total purses available across the season totalling well over $500million for the world’s best golfers.

This week’s Tour Championship at East Lake serves as the end of the campaign, but the $75million FedEx Cup finale is not counted in the PGA Tour’s prize money list as it rewards players from a bonus pool.

That mean’s the huge sums that the best performing players have earned will jump significantly after the bonuses are finalised in Atlanta.

It comes as no surprise that Scottie Scheffler tops the money list given his frankly incredible levels of consistency over the past year.

The 2022 Masters champion has improved on his 2021-22 earnings of $14million, taking home over $21m this season to break the earning records once again.

Scheffler’s lucrative season has included wins at the WM Phoenix Open and The Players, as well as 16 top-ten finishes.

And Scheffler is now favourite to win his first FedEx Cup as he has a two-shot lead heading to East Lake in the staggered scoring Tour Championship format.

Victory in Atlanta would leave the 27-year-old just shy of $40m in season earnings.

Jon Rahm is next on the list with over $16.5million earned, while Viktor Hovland, Rory McIlroy and US Open champ Wyndham Clark make up the top five.

In total, seven players have earned eight figures during the PGA Tour campaign, with Brian Harman surging into the top-ten with his victory at The Open.
