Motocaddy 2024 bags review

One of the most successful electric trolley brands has just launched their new 2024 bag line. Say hello to the new 2024 Motocaddy bag range.

The First Look

The great thing about Motocaddy bags is they have EASILOCK, which you can pair with any Motocaddy trolley, to keep it secure on the course.

But what I really like about this collection is the options and colours that come with it. In the collection, we have four cart bags and a carry bag. M-Tech is top of the range, there’s the all-new Dry-Series model, a feature-packed Club-Series and a compact Lite-Series, alongside the HydroFLEX carry bag.

The Tech

To kick off the Motocaddy 2024 bags, we are diving in to the M-Tech. If Batman designed a golf bag, he’d design this. What we have here is a premium bag made from top-quality materials. This carbon design M-Tech bag includes 14 full-length dividers, a jumbo putter well, plus chromed zip pullers and an accessory hook.

When it comes to space it has you covered with ten spacious pockets – the most ever included within a Motocaddy with additional features include an umbrella sleeve, towel hook, strap passthrough channel, pen holder and scorecard pouch.

If you’re after something a little more lightweight and waterproof the Dry Series is a great choice. It’s super-lightweight and 100% waterproof thanks to TPU nylon fabric, thermo-sealed zips and heat-welded seams. This comes with nine spacious pockets, 14 full-length dividers and easy-open Japanese YKK zips for snag-free opening. It also has a bundle of features including new thermoform panels for added styling, an umbrella sleeve, a velcro glove patch, a towel hook, a pen holder and a scorecard pouch, plus a removable panel at the front of the bag to allow for club cresting.

If you want something which is lightweight and durable, the new Club-Series is great combination of value and style with nine generous pockets. It also has 14 full-length dividers, an external umbrella holder and a dedicated putter well. Made from nylon it also includes a towel and accessory hook, scorecard and pen holders and an anti-twist base.

If weight is an issue and you want something easy to get in and out of the car the new Lite-Series is the lightest and most compact cart bag in the Motocaddy range at 2.3kg. It has seven pockets and 14 dividers in a spacious top layout, the Lite-Series includes an impressive selection of standout features, including a waterproof rain hood, towel and accessory hook, an umbrella loop and an easy access carry handle.

If you don’t have an electric trolley, don’t worry as the HydroFlex carry bag is a great option to pop over your shoulder.

Updated in look, improved storage options and cutting-edge design, the latest HydroFlex carry bag provides golfers with the flexibility they need throughout the season, especially during the wetter winter months. It is a super lightweight, waterproof model which is comfortable and can also fit on a Motocaddy trolley. It’s got plenty storage with five pockets, five dividers and a waterproof rain hood.

“We continue to lead the way in providing golfers with the largest selection of golf bags designed specifically with trolley users in mind. While it’s not easy to change something as popular as the previous Dry-Series, we believe we’ve enhanced the look and features on this year’s bag as well as the other new models to provide something to suit every golfer at different price points. We continually strive to improve our products to enhance the enjoyment for everyone out on the course.”

– Oliver Churcher (marketing director, Motocaddy)

The bunkered Verdict

I really like what I see here. When it comes to choosing cart bags for your trolley, these are some brilliant options at great prices. From your premium option in the M-Tech to the Lite-Series you get your money worth no matter which model you buy. If you’re not looking to spend as much as the top end of the range, Motocaddy have you covered with great options all the way down in to the Lite-Series.

If you like to carry then you can opt for the HydroFlex. But, even if you change your mind and want to put it on the trolley, you can with the ease of the EASILOCK system. So many colours and models to choose from but there is one in there that is ideal for you.
