Shot Scope Connex: Review

The Shot Scope Connex is affordable, easy to use and it tracks all your shots, giving you over 100 statistics on your game.

A new addition to the Shot Scope line-up, the Shot Scope Connex not only tracks your shots, but it makes keeping track of your game incredibly easy.

I’ve used the Shot Scope X5, and the Shot Scope Pro LX+ and I love the stats and shot tracking. The Shot Scope Connex is a new product for the Shot Scope range, as it’s not a watch or rangefinder. Instead, this is simply 16 tags that screw into the top of your grips. Then, all you need is your phone.

It’s quick and easy to set up. All you need to do is add your Shot Scope Connex through the Shot Scope app, which will take you through a step-by-step to get you ready. Once you do that, you’re ready to get to the course.

When you get to the first tee, go to the home screen of your Shot Scope app, select Connex round and the course closest to you.

To track your shots, simply touch the end of your grip to your phone before you swing, and the tech will do the rest.

A cool feature is that you have the aerial map of the course, which is great, as you can also preview the course before playing it.

The app is also useful on the course, as you have the front, middle and back yardages for each green, so you’re well equipped to work out what club you should be hitting.

When finishing the hole, you click pin collect once you’ve holed out, which gives you super accurate data for that hole. 

With over 100 stats available, you can look at driving accuracy, greens in regulation, and strokes gained either from the app or on your desktop at home.
