FootJoy | No.1 shoe in golf

Hot on the heels of its new FreeStyle shoe, FootJoy appears to be keeping its pedal to the metal as it has revealed VersaLuxe, its most versatile shoe ever.

A classy looking shoe that can be worn both on and off the golf course, FootJoy has made them using luxurious calfskin leather, giving the high quality appearance, while the cork covered fit-bed ensures they are always comfortable on your feet.

VersaLuxe will be the premium model in the brand’s spikeless range and joins both the DryJoys Casual and Contour Casual in the FJ line-up.

Available in four colours – Luggage Caramello, Luggage Black, Chalky Black and Chalky Off White – Richard Fryer, FootJoy’s sales and marketing director says the spikeless market has grown a lot in recent years and VersaLuxe fits in perfectly to the premium end of that market.

He said: “As we’ve seen with other models like DryJoys Casual, spikeless shoes have proven to be a significant growth area in recent years, however we’ve made a point of not sacrificing performance in these models.

“We see VersaLuxe as the perfect model for those who want to wear the same shoe on the course, in the clubhouse and even in the pub or restaurant at night time.

“It has been designed as a premium golf shoe that can be worn just as effectively off the course as on it. It’s got the luxury soft feel of premium leather but, importantly, it’s waterproof, making it a high performance product, and it is available in 23 different size and width options”.
