WITB: Inside the bags of the favourites for the US PGA

Fresh from his first WGC victory, Thomas will be looking to defend his PGA title with the help of Titleist’s new TS3 driver. The TS metalwoods were first introduced on tour at the US Open and have gone into the bags of most Titleist tour staffers.

Last week the 25-year-old said: “When I’m driving it well, I just swing as hard as I can and it feels like it’s going to do what I want and that’s a comfortable feeling, especially here at Akron or Bellerive.”

Thomas will also be relying upon the same Titleist 718 MB irons he used to capture the title last year. He currently sits third in Strokes Gained: Approach-the-Green on the PGA Tour this season.
