2. Accommodation is your biggest problem 

Don’t expect the town’s hotels to be as beautiful as the golf course. There’s a very good reason why some of the lower budget hotels can go from charging $289 for a week’s stay for 51 weeks of the year, only to increase their fees to just under $1,500 for Masters week. Many visitors bring their own bed sheets if they stay in one of the budget hotels. If that’s not your thing, you’re looking at anything up to $3,000 for a week in a three to four-star hotel, or staying two hours away and braving the drive and traffic every morning.
