USA Ryder Cup captain

Tiger Woods

The name on everyone’s lips.

Tiger Woods is made for the big stage, and they don’t come much bigger than in New York after a humbling defeat.

The fifteen-time major champion seems the most obvious shout given his stature, but he does have a poor Ryder Cup record.

Woods played in eight contests, winning 13 matches, losing 21 and halving three. There are few men, if any, that players would look up to more.

The 47-year-old also won the 2002 U.S. Open at Bethpage – an omen for success, perhaps?
