A strong field will head West from New York for the Charles Schwab Challenge on the back of a thrilling major championship at Oak Hill.
It’s the final leg of the Texas swing and Sam Burns, who won his second event in the ‘Lone Star State’ at this year’s WGC Dell-Technologies Match Play, is back to defend his title.

Burns signed his name into the tournament’s tradition when putting on the Scottish Royal tartan plaid jacket last year, after a four-round score of nine-under-par.
He will be joined in the field for Memorial Day Weekend by several other big names, including Scottie Scheffler and Collin Morikawa. There’s even a space for golf’s newest hero, Michael Block.
Here’s the full preview of the Charles Schwab Challenge.

The Bunkered Bet:
Cam Davis 66/1
Such was the test at Oak Hill last week that it may be wise to look for someone travelling to Texas fresh, but Cam Davis is playing too well to ignore. The Australian gained more than a stroke per round on the field in every tee-to-gree metric last week when finishing T4, finished T7 at Colonial last year, and has now posted three top-seven finishes in his last six starts.
