Chevron Championship 2024: Prize money payout in full

Nelly Korda won her fifth straight LPGA title as she sealed victory in the first major of the year at the Chevron Championship.

The world No.1 trailed by one shot overnight, but closed with a three-under 69 to hold off a chasing pack including Maja Stark and Lauren Coughlin at The Woodlands in Texas.

It is Korda’s second major win following her victory at the KPMG Women’s PGA Championship in 2021.

The 25-year-old joins Nancy Lopez (1978) and Annika Sorenstam (2005) in the exclusive club of players who have won five consecutive LPGA events.

“It was a little bit of a grind on the back nine, but I’m happy to get the win,” she said.

“I was definitely starting to feel it on the back nine, just the nerves setting in. It’s a major. It’s everything that I’ve always wanted as a little girl, to lift that major trophy.

“As I said, I can finally breathe now and just enjoy the moment because I was definitely really nervous. I feel sick to my stomach.”
