The DP World Tour players fighting to keep their cards for next year have reached the last-chance saloon.
This week’s Genesis Championship is the final counting event of the regular season, with the top 114 in the season-long standings securing full playing rights for 2025.
There is so much to play for in South Korea, with multiple DP World Tour winners in charge of their future on tour.
Here are seven notable names who could lose their cards for next year.
• Major tour sponsor offers bold merger prediction
• LIV stars commit to Tour play-offs in rankings push
Ross Fisher
Current ranking: 108
The Englishman might not be the force of old, but he’s a five-time DP World Tour winner at risk this week. His position just inside the number is a boost, but the 2010 Ryder Cup star would love a strong finish this week. Five missed cuts from his last eight starts would be the killer.
Matthias Schwab
Current ranking: 110
The Austrian’s T36 finish in Spain last week might have settled the nerves, and pushed Schwab into a position of safety. At 110 in the standings, the 29-year-old is safe heading into the Genesis Championship. Schwab’s struggled on both sides of the Atlantic this year, after impressing at college earlier in his career.
Ashun Wu
Current ranking: 113
Wu currently has a DP World Tour card for 2025, but only by the skin of his teeth. While not the biggest name on tour, he’s a four-time winner on the Wentworth-based circuit, and as recently as 2022. A performance to match last week’s T20 would do the job.

Rafa Cabrera-Bello
Current ranking: 121
At 40, Cabrera-Bello’s best days are past him. Let it take nothing from his four wins, though, including that dramatic Spanish Open play-off win in 2021. Chuck in an Austrian Open, Dubai Desert Classic and Scottish Open for good measure. A pro since 2005, the Spaniard needs to put a streak of MC’s behind him.
James Morrison
Current ranking: 122
Morrison deserves credit for his longevity on tour, having been a regular since 2010. The Genesis Championship will be his 430th appearance on the DP World Tour, but a missed cut at the Andalucia Masters last week was his 13th of the season. The Englishman needs to step up.
Eddie Pepperell
Current ranking: 124
The Englishman secured his second tour win at the British Masters in 2018, but has found life tough on tour since. He’s made considerable changes to his swing in recent times, and while Pepperell bounced back at the BMW PGA Championship with a T12 finish last month, has missed three cuts since.
