LIV golf Tulsa preview

Eight of the top ten players in the world will descend on East Lothian next week as the Genesis Scottish Open returns with a bang.

Several other players inside the world’s top 20 will also compete in the home of golf, including US Open champion Wyndham Clark and major winners Justin Thomas and Collin Morikawa.

The co-sanctioned event between the PGA Tour and DP World Tour is fast becoming a standout in the men’s golf calendar, despite preceding the Open Championship.

• Brooks Koepka tears into LIV teammate

• Irish Am trails by one at US Women’s Open

And there is plenty on the line for those who haven’t punched their ticket to Royal Liverpool yet, as the final three spots in the 151st championship field are up for grabs.

Ryder Cup star Xander Schauffele held his own in tough conditions last year to prevail from a stacked leaderboard, and similar can be expected this time around.

Here is everything you need to know ahead of the Rolex Series event…

Tyrrell Hatton 20/1

Hatton has shown form at the Renaissance Club, finishing T18 in 2021 and T14 in 2019. He is playing the best golf of his career and his links pedigree is reflected with his two Alfred Dunhill Championship wins. He has missed just one cut all year and is well placed to shine in North Berwick.

Please gamble responsibly.
