If you’re planning a potential golfing getaway this summer with your pals, or even a holiday with the family, the golden coast of Costa Daurada is the perfect location.

Home to no fewer than seven courses that are available to play in year-round sunshine, Costa Daurada is also less than an hour south of beautiful Barcelona.

All of this combines to create the perfect golf experience in one of Europe’s leading golf hotspots. Throw in the latest deal from holiday golf specialists GolfKings and you’ll have every box ticked.

GolfKings is offering three days of unlimited golf on three of the best courses in the region, along with accommodation and transfers.

• Introducing Al Mouj – the Middle East’s latest jewel

Lumine, Costa Dorada and Bonmont Golf Clubs are all within close proximity to each other and are all excellent tests in their own right, and the chance to play all three of them as part of a break is an opportunity not to be missed.

• The pick of the courses to play in South Africa

Lumine Mediterranea Beach & Golf Community boasts no fewer than 45 spectacular holes on a sprawling 500-acre resort.

Costa Daurada 2

Since opening ten years ago, Lumine has gone from strength to strength, now welcoming around 40,000 visitor rounds every year and serving as the home to 250 members. It also has strong links with the European Tour via its hosting of Q-school, where it will again be the home of the final stage of qualifying this year.

• Could Cambodia become golf’s next big destination?

The courses were designed by Aussie legend Greg Norman, with the Lakes probably seen as the most challenging of the three. The Ruins course, a nine-holer set on Roman archaeological remains, is perfect for a quick nine. But don’t forget about the Hills course, as it beautifully works it way through leafy woods and olive plantations. Both 18-holers here are part of the Q-School set-up, so you’re in for a fun test.

Club de Golf Bonmont is another on the GolfKings itinerary. The venue previously held the 1991 and 1996 Catalan Open where José Maria Olazábal and Paul Lawrie triumphed respectively, and this year will see it make its debut as a Qualifying School Second Stage venue in November.

Costa Daurada Bonmont

Designed by Robert Trent Jones Jnr, Bonmont is situated 30 minutes south west of Lumine and is known as one of the tour’s ‘classic’ venues from the 90s.

Costa Dorada Golf Course completes the trio on offer. Established in 1983, Costa Dorada has picturesque views over the course and to the sea, with palm trees and willows dotted about the course.

• Sir Nick Faldo breaks new ground in Pakistan

It features one of the longest holes in the whole of the country, measuring 637 yards from the back tees. This might require a lay-up. You’ll also enjoy the traditional Catalan style clubhouse, where the standard of food is exceptional, as is the case at all three venues. Lumine also has a stunning Beach Club, which is well worth checking out.

Book your trip to the Costa Daurada with GolfKings and experience three exceptional tests of golf, wonderful accommodation and excellent culinary delights. Head to GolfKings.co.uk or call 0800 316 5331.
