Joaquin Niemann showed his major credentials once more with his second LIV Golf victory of the season in Jeddah.

The 25-year-old Chilean, who recently received a special invitation into the Masters, closed with a four-under 66 to win by three shots in Saudi Arabia.

South African duo Charl Schwartzel and Louis Oosthuizen tied for seccond, with Bryson DeChambeau and Jon Rahm making up the top five.

When Niemann was asked in his post-round interview if he felt like one of the “world’s hottest golfers”, he replied. “How is that possible? I’m like 100 in the world.”

Niemann, who is actually 72nd in the world rankings, earned his Masters invite after winning the Australian Open on the DP World Tour during LIV’s off-season.

Meanwhile, Anthony Kim, who made his LIV debut after 12 years away from the professional game, finished last on 16-over.
