After a week off, the DP World Tour is back this week with the Magical Kenya Open.

The players are heading to Nairobi, for an event that’s been part of the European Tour’s circuit since 2019. Before that, it was part of the Challenge Tour’s rota, but took the step up to the main tour after over two decades.

Last year, Ashun Wu was the champion at Muthaiga, and it’s the same venue for the 2023 event and he’s back in the field this week. Before him, Justin Harding (2021) and Guido Migliozzi (2019) were the champions. There was no event in 2020.

The event runs alongside the PGA Tour’s flagship event, the Players Championship.

Weather wise, players are in for a hot one, with temperatures expected to reach around 30 degrees Celsius. For the ten Scots in the field, that will be a big adjustment.
