It was Scottie Scheffler’s day at Augusta National. As every other challenger fell away over Sunady at the Masters, the two-time Green Jacket winner held his nerve to claim his second major. In doing so, he made plenty of money, too. Here is the full Masters 2024 prize money breakdown.

As well as that famous Green Jacket and the Masters trophy, the man who tops the leaderboard each year at Augusta National receives a handsome pay cheque. This year, that man, Scottie Scheffler, will be taking home nearly $4million.

It’s not just Scheffler that will be taking home a lot of cash, either, with everyone in the field, even those who missed the cut, taking home some cash.

How much does the winner of the Masters earn?

Augusta National has announced an increase in the Masters prize purse to $20 million.

That’s up $2 million from last year, when the purse was $18 million, of which Jon Rahm banked banked $3.24 million. Scottie Scheffler, the 2024 champion, meanwhile, will take home $3.6 million.
